Before you start
- An Android device on version 5.0 or newer
- Your Strong 8K login details
Download the app
Open the Apps page on this site in your device browser and download the Strong 8K APK. On an Android TV box, the Downloader app with our code is easier than typing a URL with a remote.
Allow the install
Android will ask whether to allow installs from your browser or from Downloader. Approve it. This permission applies only to that one app and can be turned back off afterwards.
Sign in
Launch Strong 8K, pick Xtream Codes login, and enter the server, username and password from your account page. Alternatively paste your M3U link if you prefer a single-field setup.
Set your preferences
Inside settings, pick your preferred stream format and turn on hardware decoding if your device supports it. On older boxes, hardware decoding is often the difference between smooth playback and stutter.
Worth knowing
- Phones and tablets handle this best in landscape with auto-rotate on.
- On a TV box, connect Ethernet rather than Wi-Fi wherever you can.
- If a channel opens but has no sound, switch the audio decoder in settings; some boxes struggle with certain audio tracks.
